Part-Time Cablecaster Position

The City of Delano has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Cablecaster.  This position will be responsible to videotape and cablecast all City Council meetings.  This includes, but is not limited to: preparing equipment, create video agendas with graphics, monitoring equipment, adhere to Cable Television Channel Usage Guidelines, and close City Hall after meetings.  This position will work closely with the Administrative Services Coordinator to ensure the best quality for the meetings available.  This position will primarily work the first and third Tuesday each month, but must have the ability to work flexible hours as needed. The 2021 pay rate for this position is: $78.07 per meeting. The position will remain open until filled.

Part-Time Facility Host

The City of Delano is seeking a part-time Facility Host for nights and weekends to manage City Hall rentals and reservations. This individual will be the primary contact to welcome and assist renters with various tasks related to their facility rental, assist with any needs during their event, and help close-up and ensure proper closing procedures were completed.  This position will be on-call throughout the duration of events. Must have excellent communication skills, be available to work a varied schedule on nights and weekends, and have a cell phone for communication with staff and guests.  Hours will vary by week. Pay will be $50.00 per event. The position will remain open until filled.

Part-Time Zoning Enforcement Specialist

The City of Delano seeking applications for a part-time Zoning Enforcement Specialist.  This position serves as the first point of contact for zoning and code-related matters.  The Zoning Enforcement Specialist encounters and processes confidential information and must have the ability to work with the general public with efficiency, courtesy, and be self-motivated.  This position requires someone self-motivated, has attention to detail, and enjoys seeing projects through completion.  Must have a valid driver’s license or evidence of equivalent mobility upon hire.  At this time, this position is a partā€time position up to 15 hours a week, with flexible hours.  The 2021 starting wage is $20.90 per hour.  Priority will be given to applications received before October 29, 2021.  The position will remain open until filled.
