Winter Seasonal

The City of Delano is seeking a part-time seasonal employee for the Public Works Department.  This individual will be an on-call basis to assist, as needed, in snow plowing and snow removal operations.  This position is subject to being on-call on a 24/7 basis.

Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old, possess a valid Minnesota Class "B" Drivers License, and have previous experience in major snow removal operations.

The 2011-2012 wage is $15.00 per hour.  The dates of employment are approximately December 1, 2011 - March 1, 2012.

Driving and Criminal Backgrounds will be checked.  Applications will be accepted through November 15.

Warming House

The City of Delano is seeking applications from interested individuals for the part-time position of Warming House Attendants for the skating rink beginning mid-December, weather permitting.  Hours of work:  Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM.  Saturday and Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.  Wages $8.00 per hour.  Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.  Applications will be accepted until Friday, December 2, 2011 at 12:00 Noon.
