City of Delano's Building Department

The City of Delano's Building Department is responsible for building plan review and building inspections within the City of Delano.  The plan review and inspection functions include commercial and residential construction plan reviews, inspection of these structures while under construction and the tracking and permitting of the construction process.  Questions regarding building permits can be directed to Scott Dornfeld, Building Official, at (763) 972-0532.

Delano Development Incentive Program (DIP)

The City of Delano is pleased to announce the Development Incentive Program (DIP) as a financial assistance mechanism for residential and commercial projects. The program offers $5,000 grants to offset the cost of infrastructure charges associated with building development and expansion.
