  • Elections Assistant (part-time temporary)

The City of Delano is currently accepting applications for a part-time seasonal Election Assistant.  The Election Assistant will perform a variety of election tasks by assisting the Administrative Services Coordinator.  Duties will include: issuing absentee ballots, assisting in voter registration, preparing Election Day materials, and answering election-related questions. This position is seasonal and duties will be performed during the absentee voting period and possibly on Election Day.  

Typical hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, hours may vary based on election needs.  Hours are flexible if needed. The position will terminate after Election Day.

The 2020 wage is $10.00/hour. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Applications are available at Delano City Hall, 234 2nd Street North, Delano; or online at www.delano.mn.us. Priority will be given to applications received before September 28, 2020.  The position will remain open until filled.
